Welcome to DittoArchivist! I stream playthroughs of my Pokopia game (will likely expand to other games in the future) and build spreadsheets to be useful for myself and other trainers. I am a nerd and an introvert, which makes this entire venture an insane departure from my comfort zone, but here I am anyway. I have three main franchises that I play and come back to regularly: Pokémon, Kingdom Hearts, and The Legend of Zelda.
I started playing Pokémon back when Yellow, Blue, and Red were played on the Game Boy Color. I distinctly remember choosing Bulbasaur in Blue, getting to Mt. Moon, and having the difficult decision of whether or not to forget Leech Seed to learn a new move. I decided to get the new move, made it through Mt. Moon, and said, "No. Absolutely not. I want Leech Seed back." So I restarted the game and kept my Bulbasaur with Leech Seed.
I've played most of the Pokémon main games since (only missing Ultra Sun and Moon, I think; I have the games, just haven't gotten around to playing them). Black and White hold a special place in my heart as the set where I really started planning out teams and trying in earnest to complete the Pokédex, and I even had my first experiences with competitive play. Chandelure and Haxorus are still two of my favorites.
I've also played a number of the spin-offs such as Pokopia and Pokémon Rangers. The first Ranger game is one of my favorites. I have one cartridge for replays whenever the mood strikes, and one that holds my original save file because I am never catching Regice in that game ever again, not doing it. But I will gosh darn keep the proof that I did it ONCE.
As for my other favorite series, I've been playing Kingdom Hearts since it first came out on the PlayStation 2. I had the controller, and my sister had the guide book with the sticker poster. I still have that finished sticker poster framed on my wall. Dream Drop Distance is probably my favorite of that franchise. I am so excited that IV will be on the Switch 2, and I don't need to go get a new console just to play this one game. I still need to resist buying the other games on the Switch 2. I already have versions on the PS systems that I can play. I don't need to buy them again. Resist the sparklies!
I was introduced to LOZ in college by a friend via the Ocarina of Time remake for the 3DS. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it so much, but I replayed that game multiple times. I have managed to play, or at least attempt (side-eyes The Adventure of Link), most of the franchise by now, and I enjoyed most of them. I would never have managed to complete the original game or A Link to the Past without the rewind feature, though. They kicked my butt. Don't ask me to pick a favorite. Can't do it. I'll just start listing off BotW, TotK, Echoes, Skyward Sword, and, of course, OoT.
I started making spreadsheets back around Black and White. At first, it was just to try and keep track of my living dex. Then I spent some time making spreadsheets for breeding egg moves. This was when I learned about databases: what they are and how they work. They did not teach us that in school, and they should have! So useful! Then Pokémon went and started making the breeding process easier and easier and that particular spreadsheet was no longer needed. Skyward Sword was where I really started building inventory trackers so that I could figure out how much of each resource I needed to complete a playthrough. I've come to really enjoy making them. I need to clean up my Pokopia spreadsheet, but I will share it once I have. Even though others in this awesome community have already built similar tools, I enjoyed making mine and want to share.
That's a lot about me, so I will stop. Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy your time here. Bye!
Mostly Pokémon Pokopia at the moment — cozy playthroughs and finished builds on my cloud island.
Not at all! Streams are relaxed and beginner-friendly — lurk, ask questions, or just vibe along.
Cozy and kind. No rage, no toxicity — just good company and the games we love.
